Teaching Assistant  September 2025 Location: Dukinfield, Tameside  Job Type: Full time and part time contracts – term time only Salary: £90 – £100 Per day (dependant on role and experience) Teaching Assistant job duties: Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons Support students with their learning and development Provide one-on-one or small group support to students Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Manage classroom behaviour Assist with administrative tasks as required Required: Previous experience working with children or young people Enhanced DBS  Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and learning processes Ability to build positive relationships with students Basic understanding of classroom management techniques Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Working Conditions: Work in a mainstream educational setting Primary and secondary school vacancies  Collaborative work environment Potential exposure to challenging behaviour *Excellent referral scheme if you refer somebody to us who may be suitable for this role* More about us: Value Education can offer you excellent rates of pay and an honest approach to your career move.
