Starting Salary: £26,000pa

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm

Tru Talent is delighted to be partnering with a well-regarded local waste management and disposal facilities client in their search for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the business, handling key administrative tasks while ensuring customer needs and expectations are met with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment but also possess the initiative and confidence to work independently when needed. Responsibilities of the Customer Service Administrator:

  • Answering operational telephone calls in a professional manner
  • Building a rapport with customers and suppliers and managing client accounts where needed
  • Processing customer orders and liaising with suppliers
  • Advising customers on both commercial and domestic waste management
  • Liaising with accounts receivables regarding customer credit card payments
  • Administrative duties ensuring the smooth running of the customer service department including any adhoc tasks
  • Assisting your colleagues in other departments where required
  • Administration of contractor pricing, purchase orders and new sites onto the system
  • Making notes for sites, clients and supply chain with appropriate information and advising departments on issues
  • Advising on best practice of conflict solutions when customer and supplier queries arise

Needed for the role of Customer Service Administrator:

  • Waste or Construction experience is desirable not essential as training will be provided
  • Good Customer Service skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Administration experience
  • Organisational skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
