Design/ Sales Engineer

Our fantastic client, based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, are looking for a Technical Sales/ Design Engineer to join their friendly team. The position will require the individual to work within a dynamic team, implementing their knowledge of Sales, Engineering, CAD and Solidworks. There would be exciting opportunities for long term progression in this role. Permanent role. £32,000 – £35,000 depending on experience. Monday to Friday, early finish on a Friday. 25 days + bank holidays. Sales/ Design Engineer – The Role: * Prepare accurate costings from initial enquiries. * CAD & Solidworks Drawing * BOM production and Cost-analysis * Customer and supplier liaison * A level of project management * Product development, design & continual improvement * Attendance to site and or of customer facilities for project discussion when required. * To partake in suitable training when required Sales/ Design Engineer – The Candidate: * IT proficient with experience in CAD and Solid Works. * A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline would be an advantage but isn\’t essential. * Previous experience in an engineering / fabrication environment * Personable, presentable, and articulate * A sound understanding of manufacturing, engineering/fabrication principles
