DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Agency, are recruiting for FLT Counterbalance to work at our client who are a household name in the Industrial Industry in Trafford Park, Manchester.

About the Job
Working for very well-established company in Trafford Park, Manchester, they require FLT Counterbalance to be diligent and committed to ensure the materials coming onto site and leaving site are correct, safe and in good condition, as this will help ensure health and safety on site. Our customers expect high levels of quality and service, and a major way this expectation can be met is by the condition our materials are received this is vital in the continued growth of the business.
This is a temporary to permanent position.
Duties
As a counterbalance driver you will assist in the timely and accurate preparing and loading of customers orders.
Driving and operating the FLT Counterbalance
Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
Assists and supervises load & off-load of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished goods
Carries out production in accordance with production schedule to ensure continuous deliveries that meet customers satisfaction.
Ensures raw materials and semi-finished products are ready prior start of production
Supervises correct storage of finished products
Starts and monitors production process
Daily supervises production supporting services (i.e. cleaning, calibration, etc)
Processes production-related administration in ERP or other applicable software (production orders, transport orders etc)
Commits to keep a clean and orderly shop floor
Ensures oral and written communication at production shift changes
Insist to staff wearing personal protection (wearing helmet, goggles, gloves, etc) and set a good example
Requirements
Experience in a production environment is desirable
FLT Counterbalance Licence and experience is essential
Shifts
2 weeks rotating shifts
6am to 2.30 pm (2 weeks)
9 am to 6.30 pm (2 weeks)
