We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Drivers to join a well-established site near Driffield. We are looking for the right candidate - someone who is not only ready to get started but is also looking to grow with the business. For the right person, there is guaranteed ongoing work beyond the peak season.
The rate of pay is £13.21 per hour, weekends £14.21 per hour. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
- 6pm to 6am
We are looking for several drivers - Day shifts available along with Nights - these shifts are fixed you don't rotate. Applicants must have their own transport due to the rural location of the site.
Important information:
- Training period: Until 20th June, your working pattern will be Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 6:00pm while you complete full on-site training.
- Peak season: From 20th June to the first week of September, your shift will change to Friday to Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm.
- Weekend working is essential during this time, as this is the site's busiest season. Weekend premiums will apply.
- After peak season, the role will return to the standard Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 6:00pm shift.
Your Time at Work
As a Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Operating a reach truck to move, stack, and organise goods
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Stock handling and general warehouse duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
