We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Area Sales Support Manager to join our EE Mobile Franchise team. This role is pivotal in supporting the operational and commercial performance of multiple EE retail franchise stores within a defined geographical area. You’ll work closely with Store Managers, Franchise Owners, and central support functions to drive sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Commercial Performance
- Support store teams in achieving and exceeding KPIs including sales targets, conversion rates, and customer experience metrics.
- Monitor and analyse performance data across sites, identifying trends and implementing action plans to improve underperforming areas.
- Support the execution of local and national promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Ensure adherence to EE operational standards, processes, and compliance requirements across all franchise locations.
- Conduct regular store visits to audit operational performance, provide coaching, and implement best practices.
- Coordinate with the Franchise Owner and head office to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and timely problem resolution.
- Act as a key point of contact for store managers and frontline teams, offering guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff, ensuring consistent standards across all stores.
- Help build a positive, sales-driven culture by motivating teams and recognising achievements.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with Franchise Partners, supporting them in delivering business goals and EE standards.
- Assist in aligning franchise business plans with EE’s strategic priorities.
- Act as a liaison between the franchisee and EE corporate teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
- Provide regular performance and activity reports to the Regional Sales Manager and Franchise Owner.
- Support planning and budgeting processes with accurate forecasting and analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of store visits, action plans, and follow-ups.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a multi-site retail management, area support, or franchise operations role (telecoms industry preferred).
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse data and implement effective business solutions.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving high performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
