Operating across Ireland, UK and Europe, Boven Safety Group are a leading Health & Safety Consultancy and Health & Safety Contracting Provider to our leading multinational Construction, Fit-Out, & Manufacturing based clients. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for the company by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in the health and safety sector across UK, Ireland & Europe.
The role involves promoting Health & Safety services to a wide range of industries, building long-term client relationships, and contributing to strategic business planning. Although primarily office based from our head office in Hillsborough, County Down, this role will require occasional travel to clientβs offices & sites throughout Ireland, UK & Europe.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Hillsborough, Co. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's client base. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Networking, lead generation, proposal writing, and client relationship management.
- Developing and maintaining a pipeline of qualified leads and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract close.
- Building trusted relationships with decision-makers including HSE Managers, Facilities Managers, HR Directors, and Managing Directors.
- Attending client meetings, industry events, and networking functions to build brand awareness.
- Preparing tenders and assisting in writing bids and proposals for public and private sector opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
Requirements:
- Experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Experience in proposal writing and client relationship management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in business development or sales.
- Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
