Alba Ultrasound is a world-leading company in the design and manufacture of ultrasonic transducers and arrays, collaborating with industry-leading clients across defence, oil & gas, commercial and scientific markets. To support continual growth, an excellent opportunity exists for a CNC Miller to join the team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Glasgow.

The role is based in a high-tech production environment where attention to detail is essential. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who are able to achieve accurate results and on-time delivery. The position is on a rotating two shift pattern days/nights (Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm and Monday to Thursday 9pm to 7am) and will be reporting directly to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set & Operate CNC Milling machines to produce high-precision parts in accordance with specifications.
  • The ability to read and edit programmes (Heidenhein, Mitsubishi, Fanuc).
  • Interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing components to set tolerances.
  • Operate designated machinery safely and competently, ensuring all HSE and housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Maintain, identify and control all product related tooling/fixtures ensuring they are clean, free from debris, fit for purpose and assemble them in accordance with product specific documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform QC checks on components as required by manufacturing specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and quality levels.

Salary: £33-36k + Shift allowance + Overtime
