Our client, a leading international insurance organisation is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join its Global Markets team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple lines of business while enjoying a strong benefits package, career development, and a collaborative working environment.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of complex and varied claims. You’ll be responsible for:
- Full lifecycle claims handling including coverage analysis, investigation, and evaluation of policy liability, legal liability, and quantum
- Working across Marine, Aviation, Property, or Casualty Claims (experience in any of these is beneficial, but not required)
- Delivering service excellence to clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and settle claims efficiently and fairly
- Manage your own caseload, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and cost control
- Collaborate with a range of professionals including policyholders, brokers, loss adjusters, solicitors, and third parties
- Support and work closely with third-party service providers to maintain service standards
- Represent the company at internal and external meetings, including with brokers and key clients
- Contribute to key client relationship management through responsive and professional communication
- Assist senior adjusters, managers, and underwriters with ad hoc projects and team support
What We’re Looking For
- Previous claims handling experience, ideally in complex or commercial lines
- Experience in Marine, Aviation, Property, or Casualty Claims is a plus
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication (written and verbal)
- Progress toward or completion of professional qualifications (e.g. ACII) is preferred
- A proactive team player who can also manage an independent caseload
