The Senior Manager of Field Service is responsible for leading and managing the Global Field Service team supporting industrial imaging systems, including LINAC (linear accelerator) systems and cargo inspection systems used in transportation, security, and industrial applications. This role ensures delivery of high-quality service operations, installation, maintenance, and support while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OR DUTIES- Lead a team of field service engineers and regional service managers to support installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and upgrades of LINAC and cargo inspection systems.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that drive service excellence, responsiveness, and system uptime.
- Oversee escalation processes, root cause analysis, and field fixes for critical issues.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product teams to improve system reliability and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, radiation regulations, and local laws where systems are deployed.
- Drive team training and certification programs to ensure deep technical knowledge across complex industrial systems.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, service-level agreements (SLAs), and cost control targets.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities as a technical service leader for system lifecycle planning and customer engagements.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure parts availability and delivery for field service operations.
- Implement digital tools and field service systems to increase productivity and reporting accuracy.

- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
