Project Manager – Public Sector Digital Transformation (SC Cleared)

Location: Hybrid – 2-3 days/week in London

We’re hiring a Project Manager for OUR CLIENT, to help deliver complex digital transformation initiatives across public sector organisations. If you’re experienced, SC-cleared, and looking for a role where your work really counts, we’d love to speak with you.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll lead delivery of digital projects from discovery through to live, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams across strategy, design, and engineering. You’ll guide clients through uncertainty, keep delivery on track, and create clarity for everyone involved.

Your work will include:

• Managing end-to-end delivery of digital services for central government clients.
• Building clear roadmaps, delivery plans, and forecasts.
• Communicating progress, blockers, and risk, early, often, and with precision.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams, keeping delivery user-centred and value-driven.
• Maintaining control over scope, budget, and timelines across concurrent projects.
• Facilitating delivery ceremonies (stand-ups, retros, sprint planning, etc.).
• Ensuring outcomes meet GDS and WCAG standards, and contribute to wider service transformation.

What You’ll Bring

• Active UK SC clearance (this is essential).
• Strong track record delivering digital transformation projects within the public sector.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Lean, and user-centred delivery.
• Excellent communication skills; clear, credible, and calm under pressure.
• Experience working alongside developers, researchers, designers, and product managers.
• Familiarity with technical platforms, web applications, and cloud infrastructure.
• A pragmatic mindset: you care about outcomes, not over-engineered process.
• Previous agency or consultancy experience is a bonus.
