As an Associate Investment Officer you will assist the Investment Team with:
- The preparation and day to day management of the overhead budget
- Manage procurement and invoice approval relating to this budget
- Assist with the tracking, spending and returns against UK/I investments following input from the Investment Manager.
- Assist with the management of the investment requests
- Assist with the management of RAID logs
You will also assist with tracking our operational budgets, recording expenditure and changes and ensuring they are realigned to our budgeting. You will participate in regular review calls with the necessary stakeholders, including our internal Finance department, to provide evidence and assurance that our budgets are maintained and on target. The Associate Investment Officer will be able to assist with how to monitor, track and evidence our expenditure in the most efficient and understandable way.
- Take over the prep and day to day management of the non-people budget
- Manage procurement and invoice approval (first approver)
- Receive a summary of people cost per investment from AD/GC (not actual people costs)
- Receive a summary of benefits
- Use above to track spend and returns against investments
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of the day to day spend on overhead related budget, including liaising with key stakeholders on anticipated spend
- Assist in the management of the procurement and invoice approval relating to both the people and non-people related budget
- Assist with the tracking of spend and return against investments on headcount budget
- Participate in regular meetings with the Heads of Products to assess expenditure and returns against target per investment
- Work closely with the Investment Manager to review and evidence expenditure
- Advise key stakeholders on when savings need to be made or where they could be made
- Assist in maintaining RAID logs
- Assist the investment team with administrative support
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, including our Finance department
- Participate fully in our end of year budgeting process
- Participate in regular review meetings with Finance, Director of Products and Delivery and Head of Delivery to monitor budgets
