This is an excellent time to join a business pioneering new offerings through data-driven capabilities with an AI-powered platform guiding teams to run consistently profitable venues across retail and hospitality – a real product solving real problems.
You will be hands-on technically in building a highly scalable, maintainable, and world-class product while responsible for the health of a small team. As part of the Senior Leadership group, you will be involved in the technical direction, planning, stakeholder engagement, and in the trenches of hands-on coding.
From a people management perspective, you will set goals that positively stretch your team to grow while taking 121s and providing mentorship. With a strong product mindset, you will work collaboratively with a new Product team to paint the future roadmap.
- Hands-on engineering the product being involved from design to shipping
What are we seeking from candidates?
- A minimum of 2 years of recent hands-on technical lead experience managing a small team.
- A strong product mindset ideally comes from a scaling B2B SaaS company with an understanding of what needs to happen.
- Expertise in multiple software languages. Desired would-be TypeScript, React, Node.JS or Python.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and microservices architecture, AWS experience ideal.
- Demonstrate adaptability & great organizational skills – this is a start-up, you will spin multiple plates.
- Demonstrate a good level of Emotional Intelligence. This is a people-first business.
