Lancaster & Morecambe College are seeking a Lecturer to contribute to the Apprenticeship provision in Health and Social Care. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to ensure an excellent learning experience and high achievement for apprentices.

You will teach and assess in healthcare related subject areas such as person-centred care, clinical practice, assisting with overall care needs and activities to support daily living, as well as topics on physiological illness and meeting individual needs. As part of the role, you will also support apprentices in developing practical skills within the College’s health training ward.

Courses include the new Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship, alongside other Health and Social Care programmes. The position offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals through hands-on training and comprehensive educational support.

You will have relevant recent experience in the health & social care sector (including clinical experience) and will be teacher qualified or willing to undertake this training. Support and mentoring are provided for those new to teaching.
