Responsive Personnel are seeking a Hotel Porter to join a fantastic team in a stunning Hotel in Gloucestershire. From meeting and greeting arrivals to assisting with luggage, supporting room service, and helping set up events, this is a dynamic and varied role that requires discretion, efficiency, and a warm, can-do attitude. As a key part of the House team, you will help set the tone for arrival, departure, and everything in between.
The annual on target earnings for this role are £34,763.3 per year based on a 42.5 hour week with a base salary and estimated annual service charge takings. This role is paid hourly, up to £15.73 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage delivery to and from rooms
- Ensure smooth coordination of room service requests in collaboration with front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Support event and space set-up across the estate, maintaining high standards of presentation and timeliness
- Be present and available across the property to anticipate guest needs and assist wherever required
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and internal communications
- Maintain tidiness and readiness in guest-facing areas, entrances, and outdoor spaces
- Handle guest property and estate equipment with care, discretion, and attention to detail
- Warm, helpful, and naturally hospitable in manner
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, including luggage and event furniture
- Attentive and alert to the needs of both guests and the wider team
- A flexible team player with a calm, solutions-focused attitude
