Position Overview: Coreco are seeking a dynamic and driven Mortgage Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage advising, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct comprehensive mortgage assessments for clients, analysing their financial situations and recommending suitable mortgage products.
  • Provide expert advice on various mortgage options, including fixed-rate mortgages, variable-rate mortgages, buy-to-let mortgages, and remortgages.
  • Guide clients through the mortgage application process, assisting with paperwork, liaising with lenders, and ensuring smooth transactions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other industry professionals to generate leads and referrals.
  • Stay up to date on industry regulations, market trends, and mortgage products to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders on behalf of clients to secure favourable mortgage terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.

What you’ll need:

  • CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification or equivalent is essential.
  • A bubbly personality and a knack for making people feel at ease.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience as a mortgage guru (but if you're new to the game, don't worry, we’ll show you the ropes).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
