Position Overview: Coreco are seeking a dynamic and driven Mortgage Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage advising, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

What you’ll do:

1. Conduct comprehensive mortgage assessments for clients, analysing their financial situations and recommending suitable mortgage products.
2. Provide expert advice on various mortgage options, including fixed-rate mortgages, variable-rate mortgages, buy-to-let mortgages, and remortgages.
3. Guide clients through the mortgage application process, assisting with paperwork, liaising with lenders, and ensuring smooth transactions.
4. Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other industry professionals to generate leads and referrals.
5. Stay up to date on industry regulations, market trends, and mortgage products to provide informed advice to clients.
6. Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders on behalf of clients to secure favourable mortgage terms.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
8. Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.

What you’ll need:

1. CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification or equivalent is essential.
2. A bubbly personality and a knack for making people feel at ease.
3. Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements.
4. Experience as a mortgage guru (but if you're new to the game, don't worry, we'll show you the ropes).
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
