Trade Finance Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trade Finance Officer to join an established bank on an initial temporary basis. Must have strong Trade Finance experience specifically in document checking.

Description

· Documentary checking (first & second) – LC/Amendments/Payment/Guarantees/Bonds

· Handling/processing of LC/Guarantees etc Opening (Trade Services) – Inward and Outward

· Handling/processing of Bills for Collection Inward and Outward

· Ensuring that LCs are advised/confirmed promptly

· Administration of Trade Services transactions, including input to our banking system, file

administration

· Liaison with Issuing Banks

· Liaison with Group Trade Services

· Liaison with clients

· Due diligence checks – AML/KYC and Sanctions

Any other work allocated by the Head, Trade Finance and/or Assistant Manager, Trade Finance

Profile

• Must be immediately available or on a 1 week notice.
• Strong experience in document checking and trade finance
• Knowledge of guarantees
• Knowledge of Swift
• Banking experience
