Interim Head of IT

Your new roleAs Head of Information Technology, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of IT services across the organisation. Reporting directly to the COO, you'll be responsible for shaping and implementing the IT strategy, overseeing infrastructure, applications, and service delivery, and ensuring robust governance, security, and compliance.You'll manage a team of around 19 IT professionals and oversee a recurrent budget of approximately £1.7 million, with capital investments averaging £3 million annually. Your leadership will drive innovation, efficiency, and a high standard of service across all IT functions, including project management, application development, and media technology.Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and execution of the IT strategy
• Managing senior stakeholder relationships and third-party vendors
• Overseeing IT budgets, business continuity, and risk management
• Driving team development and fostering a culture of service excellence
• Acting as the senior authority on all IT infrastructure matters

What you'll need to succeedTo thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Proven senior IT leadership experience in a complex environment
• A strong track record in strategic planning, team development, and project delivery
• Expertise in innovative technology solutions and service excellence
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in financial planning and managing third-party relationships
• A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
