We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Labware Engineer to join our clientβs team. In this role, you will contribute to the successful implementation, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Labware systems, including LIMS, eLN, and mobile modules. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong communication skills and hands-on experience in Labware platforms and related infrastructure.
Key skills:
- 6+ years of experience with Labware as an Engineer.
- Practical experience writing and executing Oracle SQL queries to troubleshoot and optimize Labware processes.
- Understanding of Active Directory integration and user authentication models in Labware.
- Experience with installing and configuring Labware elements: Core application and modules, Labware server components and required dependencies, system packages and upgrades.
- Exposure to at least one of the following: Labware LIMS, Labware Electronic Lab Notebook (eLN), Labware Mobile.
- Awareness of GxP standards and a willingness to deepen expertise in regulated environments.
- Consulting background is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written).
- Rights to work in the UK is a must (No Sponsorship available).
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the Labware platform.
- Apply critical thinking to break down complex system problems and implement practical solutions.
- Conduct system investigations and provide data-driven insights using SQL and system logs.
- Support engineering initiatives from initial design through deployment.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Capture stakeholder input, document technical feedback, and tailor solutions to evolving needs.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including QA, IT, and lab operations.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
