If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced engineering team where your skills and input will make a real difference. 🔧 The Role: As a Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer, you\’ll play a key role in maintaining a wide range of plant and production equipment, using both reactive and proactive approaches to keep downtime to a minimum and ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: * Perform reactive and planned maintenance on site machinery and equipment * Complete PPM tasks and maintain accurate records * Identify faults and implement effective solutions * Support the Engineering Supervisor and collaborate with production and hygiene teams * Maintain high standards of housekeeping and GMP * Ensure safe working practices and wear appropriate PPE * Source and communicate spare parts and equipment needs efficiently * Participate in accident investigations when technical input is required * Assist with on-site contractors and fire marshal duties as required ✅ What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: * Time-served, fully qualified engineer * Recognised engineering qualifications (e.g., 16th Edition Electrical Regulations) * Level 2 Food Hygiene (preferred) * Health & Safety and Fire Marshal certifications desirable Experience & Skills: * Experience in a similar engineering role within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment * Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude * Familiarity with Shire PPM systems preferred * Competent using Microsoft Office and maintenance systems * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Flexible approach to shift work and working hours 🎁 What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary with shift allowance * Excellent company benefits including pension and development opportunities * Structured training to support your progression * Positive and safety-first working environment * Free parking on site Ready to take the next step in your engineering career?
