We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Manager to work directly with the Chief Commercial and Operating Officer (CCOO) of Heidrick Consulting. This role will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives and business transformation activities across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management discipline, excellent communication skills and the agility to operate in a fast-paced, complex environment with global stakeholders.
You will manage and drive the successful execution of projects tied to commercial, operational and strategic priorities, including cross-functional transformation efforts, PMO coordination, process improvement, and enterprise-level change initiatives. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role requiring both strategic thinking and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Establish and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports and logs.
- Support the CCOO with the development and operation of a consistent, high-functioning Project Management Office (PMO).
- Drive governance, reporting and communications across the portfolio of CCOO-led initiatives.
- Partner with senior leaders to scope, plan, and execute change and transformation programs across the global business, including business integration activities.
- Track key milestones and KPIs, ensuring timely delivery of workstreams and managing interdependencies across initiatives.
- Prepare high-impact presentations and status updates for leadership stakeholders and Global Leadership Team (GLT) reporting.
- Facilitate CCOO planning processes, including business reviews, transformation roadmaps and strategic planning sessions.
- Translate high-level strategy into executable project plans with clear accountability and success measures.
- Conduct research, synthesize information and develop insights to inform operational decision-making.
- Act as a central coordination point for global project teams, ensuring alignment across regions and business units.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders including finance, HR, IT, and commercial leaders to support integrated delivery.
- Lead the creation of clear, concise communication materials including executive summaries, dashboards and briefings.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in a professional services, consulting or corporate environment.
- Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level change initiatives or COO/CEO office support in a matrixed organization.
- Strong experience with project delivery frameworks and PMO operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Exceptionally strong organizational, planning and documentation skills.
- Excellent communicator, capable of producing polished decks, reports and communications for executive audiences.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project tools.
- High degree of discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential and strategic information.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred.
- Experience working in a global consulting or professional services environment.
- Exposure to commercial operations, financial planning or strategy execution is advantageous.
- Ability to operate independently and make sound decisions in an ambiguous and evolving environment.
