About the Role
As a Sales Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing advice, support, and product knowledge to ensure a smooth and positive shopping experience. Whether you're helping a local tradesperson find the right part or managing stock displays, your role is essential to the day-to-day success of our store.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Provide knowledgeable advice on plumbing and heating products
- Process sales at the counter and over the phone
- Maintain well-organised and visually appealing product displays
- Monitor and replenish stock levels as needed
- Work closely with the warehouse and trade counter team to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Keep the showroom clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Promote special offers and upsell complementary products
- Support deliveries and customer collections when required
