Pfeifer Drako Ltd, part of the internationally renowned Pfeifer Group, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR/Training Administrator to support our growing team in Crewe. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and working closely with the Health & Safety Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional HR, payroll, and training support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Human Resources & Health & Safety Administration
- Maintain up-to-date, GDPR-compliant employee and health & safety records.
- Prepare contracts, offer letters, onboarding packs, and variations of employment.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, policy communication, and employee lifecycle events.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, escalating when necessary.
- Assist with HR compliance, audits, and benefits administration.
- Payroll Administration
- Collect and process payroll data (e.g. hours, overtime, absences).
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to payroll and pension records.
- Support statutory reporting and maintain Benefits in Kind and PSA records.
- Resolve payroll queries with a high standard of customer service.
- Training Administration
- Maintain training records, logs, and compliance matrices.
- Coordinate internal and external training, including logistics and e-learning access.
- Track mandatory training completion and support induction programmes.
- Liaise with providers and ensure accurate training records and invoicing.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in HR or administrative support, ideally in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident handling sensitive data with full understanding of GDPR.
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and e-learning platforms (desirable).
- Proactive communicator who works well both independently and in a team.
Working Hours
Full-time: 36.25 hours per week, 7.25 hours per day with a 45-minute unpaid break. Working hours negotiable between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
