MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Monitoring Officer for a leading company in the Lending - Consumer sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, contributing to crucial compliance and risk management activities. Salary: Β£35,000 - Β£50,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Hybrid (2 / 3 days per week in Chester office)

The Role

Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Monitoring Officer:

  • Conduct compliance monitoring activities following established methodologies
  • Draft reports and propose proportionate recommendations to address identified risks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage compliance risks and implement appropriate controls
  • Support the creation and delivery of Compliance MI packs
  • Contribute to delivering good outcomes for retail customers and maintaining high standards of care

Required knowledge and experience for the Compliance Monitoring Officer role:

  • Minimum three years' experience in compliance monitoring or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations, particularly FCA, CONC, DISP, PRIN, GDPR, and CCA
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency in interpreting data and writing reports
