A leading organisation in the financial sector is seeking a Portfolio Planner to join its growing PMO function. This is a pivotal role that supports enterprise-level planning, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, benefits realisation, and delivery outcomes across a diverse portfolio of change initiatives.
Working across the business, you'll play a key role in coordinating planning processes, supporting governance, and contributing to the development of best-practice portfolio management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and align strategic planning activities across the portfolio
- Provide insights and data that drive benefit realisation and objective tracking
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of portfolio planning processes
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level plans and reporting to ensure visibility of progress against strategic outcomes
- Work collaboratively across teams to ensure effective delivery of the organisation's full change portfolio
- Proven experience in portfolio or programme planning within a PMO or enterprise change function
- Strong understanding of strategic planning, benefits realisation, and portfolio governance
- Proficiency in planning tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Planview) and reporting dashboards (Power BI desirable)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with a collaborative mindset
- Experience in a regulated environment (insurance or financial services preferred)
