Robert Half has partnered with a large international organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a SAP S/4HANA implementation. This is a pivotal role within the organisation's Project Management Office (PMO), requiring excellent stakeholder engagement skills, strong documentation capabilities, and a proven track record in SAP project delivery.
The transition to SAP S/4HANA will be delivered by a specialist external implementation partner, who will serve as a key stakeholder throughout the project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing this partnership, ensuring effective collaboration, clear communication, and the timely delivery of agreed milestones and project outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with deep knowledge of SAP ecosystems to lead a high-impact digital transformation initiative. Your experience in delivering complex SAP S/4HANA projects within international environments will be key to the programme's success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the SAP S/4HANA implementation project
- Manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business cases, project plans, and regular status reports
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; proactively manage project issues
- Report regularly on progress to the Head of Projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, and third-party vendors
- Facilitate project governance, steer committees, and decision-making forums
- Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
- Experience working within international organisations
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendors and external delivery partners
- Strong documentation skills, including business case development and formal reporting
- Self-driven, organised, and able to take full ownership of project outcomes
- Availability to work onsite in Surrey 4 days per week
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
