Zume is a boutique web hosting company built on one thing: obsessive, high-quality support. We're small, growing, and genuinely care about doing things the right way. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers and provide personal support in a rewarding environment.

It's a hands-on role with lots of variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to have real responsibility from day one. Our standard hours are 9-5, but we're a 24/7 operation. You'll mostly work days, but will also have the opportunity to work early, late and weekend shifts if this suits your lifestyle better.

What we're looking for:

  • Friendly, polite, clear communicator who takes pride in their work
  • Genuine interest in technology, computers, or servers
  • Desire to learn and progress through the business
  • A decent grasp of Linux and hosting basics
  • cPanel/WHM and WordPress experience
  • Based in the UK, ideally able to commute into Coventry on a hybrid basis

The following would be beneficial:

  • Confident with site/email migrations
  • Knowledge in other applications such as Magento or Joomla
  • VPS or virtualisation experience (Proxmox, KVM, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a hosting or technical support role
  • Comfortable with DNS, email deliverability, or SSL issues

What you'll be doing:

  • Helping customers via tickets, live chat, and phone
  • Migrating sites and emails from other hosting providers (cPanel and non-cPanel)
  • Troubleshooting WordPress issues, SSL, DNS, email problems, and more
  • Working with cPanel/WHM, and helping with VPS and virtualisation where needed
  • Suggesting ways to improve our tools, docs, and how we work
