We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of retail media platforms for a leading retail organisation. This is a pivotal role bridging technology and commercial teams to deliver innovative, data-driven advertising capabilities across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect end-to-end solutions for retail media platforms, including onsite, offsite, and in-store integrations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, data, tech) and third-party vendors to define scalable and secure architectures.
- Define integration patterns for customer data, ad tech platforms, and retail systems.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and data privacy regulations.
- Support vendor selection and solution evaluation processes.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within retail, eCommerce, or ad tech environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of retail media technologies.
- Experience designing scalable, high-availability solutions using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, data flows, and event-driven architectures.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor management skills.
- Experience with platforms such as Criteo, CitrusAd, PromoteIQ, or similar.
- Familiarity with privacy-first architectures and GDPR compliance.
