Clinical Deputy Manager required for a highly regarded nursing and dementia care home located just outside Chatham, Kent. We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Deputy Manager to support its high-quality care provision. The home is Good rated with CQC, purpose built with a homely atmosphere, and offers a supportive and enriching environment for both residents and staff. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a charity run and values driven care group with a successful and high performing portfolio of care homes across south east of England.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of clinical care, ensuring the highest standards are maintained across the home
- Support the Home Manager in leading the team, maintaining compliance, and improving outcomes
- Mentor and develop nursing and care staff, fostering a positive, professional culture
- Lead on medication management, audits, and safeguarding procedures
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and service excellence
Requirements:
- A registered nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC pin
- Experienced in a senior clinical or deputy management role within a nursing or dementia care setting
