Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its Forensic Mental Health team.
Details of the role:
- Social Supervisor role in the community (support provided with this if you do not have previous experience)
- Holding a caseload to include Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments, care planning, safeguarding etc.
- Supporting Leicester-based residents on the inpatient ward of a local secure unit
- Report writing and Mental Health tribunals
- Low level duty work
- Risk management
- Supportive team including Community Psychiatric Nurse and Consultant Psychiatrist for joint visits etc.
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care and especially with a Mental Health specialism
- Ideal candidate would have some Forensic expertise and/or AMHP qualification, but this is not essential for the role
