About the Role:

As a Labourer, you’ll work alongside skilled tradespeople and supervisors to help maintain and repair housing stock across Northumberland. You’ll play a key part in ensuring residents’ homes are safe, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting tradespeople with repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Preparing and clearing work areas
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained
  • Following health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or a similar environment
  • Good physical fitness and a positive work ethic
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)

The pay range for the role is £15.53 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £13.24 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
