Communications Engineer – Unified Comms & AV Installations Full-Time Field-Based from Northampton UK Driving Licence Required We’re looking for a skilled Communications Engineer to join a fast-growing managed service provider delivering cutting-edge telecoms and IT solutions to businesses across the UK. In this varied and customer-facing role, you’ll install and configure cloud-hosted VoIP systems (Gamma Horizon, 8×8 Work), Microsoft Teams Room setups (Yealink), and Contact Centre platforms. You\’ll also conduct site surveys, deliver end-user training, and ensure every install is smooth, professional, and well-documented. What we’re looking for: ~3+ years in UC or installation engineering roles ~ Experience with Gamma Horizon and/or 8×8 VoIP ~ Teams Room setups (Yealink hardware preferred) ~ Understanding of contact centre features (IVRs, dashboards, agent tools) ~ Confident with networking basics (VLANs, PoE, QoS) ~ Comfortable working with tools to mount AV/telephony equipment ~ A strong communicator with great problem-solving skills ~ Full UK driving licence required What you’ll get: ~£30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience ~22 days’ holiday + your birthday off (rising to 25 days in year 2) ~ NHS healthcare cash plan, pension scheme, life insurance (3x salary) ~ Staff discounts, paid volunteering time, and wellbeing support ~ Clear personal development plan and learning opportunities You’ll be joining a collaborative and people-first team that values innovation, customer focus, and doing things properly — without jargon.
