This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to make a significant impact. You’ll work in partnership with senior leadership to drive engagement, shape people strategy, and build effective HR policies and processes that support future ambitions. The role requires a proactive approach to HR leadership, strong prioritisation skills, and an ability to contribute to a close-knit, agile team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a comprehensive, generalist HR service across the organisation
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support and build robust relationships across all levels
- Oversee onboarding and induction processes for new staff
- Lead the monthly payroll process
- Design and support training and development initiatives, including statutory and mandatory requirements
- Coordinate the annual performance and salary review processes
- Advise on and help resolve employee relations matters
- Review, develop, and communicate HR policies and ensure legal compliance
- Create and implement a people strategy that champions engagement, inclusion, and retention
- Develop strategies for succession planning and career progression
- Support the preparation and presentation of reports and data for the executive board
- Help foster a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture

- Demonstrated ability to operate independently while also collaborating with key stakeholders
- Strong leadership and first-class communication and relationship management skills
- Sound understanding of UK employment law and confident dealing with complex ER cases
