- Work alongside the Enterprise Architect to help deliver RECCo’s strategy through secure, scalable solutions.
- Identify and suggest improvements to internal processes and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date and clear technical documentation.
- Engage with partners to assess and challenge the suitability of existing and proposed technologies.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and R&D in the digital space.
- Champion the use of technology to solve industry challenges.
About You

- Good interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments.
- Self-starter with a desire to learn and progress.
- Capable of simplifying complex technical matters for non-technical stakeholders.
- Resilient and persistent in navigating change in a regulated environment.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Some knowledge of the UK energy market (desirable, not essential).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and OAuth/OpenID Connect.
- Exposure to Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Awareness of API Gateways and microservices principles.
- Basic understanding or interest in cyber security.
- Certifications or training in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) would be a plus.
