CEO of a technology company, with a wife and three young children, based in Holland Park, is looking for an experienced and safe driver and all-rounder assistant who, when not driving, can proactively handle maintenance tasks around the home and errands. First and foremost, you will be a confident driver with a clean track record. You will have proven experience within a similar role as an all-rounder, taking a hands-on, common-sense approach to addressing household maintenance tasks, liaising with contractors, maintaining the fleet of cars, and handling any errands to support the principal as required.

Driving/Vehicle management

You will drive your principal, his colleagues, and his family, to work, to relevant meetings throughout the day, to school runs, and to other engagements, ensuring all passengers are safe and comfortable, and that all regulations are adhered to at all times

Responsible for the safety, maintenance, insurance, charging and service of all household cars, keeping them safe and clean inside and outside
Household maintenance

You will be the first point of contact for maintenance relating to both the family home and the additional rental property, solving issues as required either yourself personally, or by organising and overseeing trusted external suppliers

Examples of duties include garden sweeping, powerwashing, building furniture, carrying heavy items, arranging for a plumber, etc.
Errands

Run errands and make purchases for the business or household as requested by the principal or his family, accounting in full for expenditures according to the appropriate process and submitting receipts

To be eligible for this role, you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of chauffeuring for a private family with children

Checkable references, the principal will need to speak to the principal(s) of your two most recent positions

Clean driving licence, with no points or endorsements within the last 5 years

No accidents, claims or convictions within the last 5 years

Proactive with addressing household maintenance tasks, e.g. utilising common sense/general maintenance skills to fix issues prior to contacting contractors where applicable. Willingness to roll up sleeves and take a hands on approach

Organised and adaptable to a changing workload e.g. ensuring any meetings with contractors don’t conflict with the principal’s meetings
