We deliver content through digital, audio, video, and social platforms, as well as a new weekly print product called The London Standard. We also create live experiences and events and collaborate with a number of OOH partners. Our headquarters are located in Finsbury Square, London.

About you
You have experience working in commercial media insight teams and will support the commercial sales team by delivering actionable data-driven insights that enhance advertising pitches, campaign effectiveness, and lead generation. You will work closely with sales, shared services, and the data team to help drive revenue growth through compelling audience narratives and highlighting opportunities.

The Team and Role Purpose
The Insights team supports The Standard’s commercial operation by providing data-driven intelligence to strengthen advertising pitches and drive revenue growth. As an Insights Executive, you will assist in gathering, analysing, and presenting audience and market insights. You’ll help craft sales narratives, support campaign reporting, and contribute to data-led strategies that enhance client relationships. This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop expertise in media research and commercial storytelling in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Sales Support & Storytelling: Provide insights and sales materials to strengthen pitches and proposals.
  • Campaign Effectiveness: Conduct post-campaign analysis, build campaign effectiveness studies for key commercial partners, create case studies, and demonstrate advertising ROI.
  • Lead Generation: Identify opportunities using audience insights, market data, and emerging trends.
  • Collaboration: Work with shared services and the data team to integrate first-party data and ensure commercial strategies align with broader business objectives.
  • Research & Reporting: Use tools like TGI, PAMCo, Ipsos, and first-party data sources to deliver relevant insights.
