We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Quality Inspection Team Leader to join the FormelD Operations team.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting to ensure customer containment and rework activities are successfully delivered on-time and at the right cost and quality ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded at all times.
- Support achievement of Customer Key Project Indicators (KPI’s).
- Supervising a team of permanent Quality Inspectors and temporary support requirements as well as adhoc team members, such as Mechanics and Electricians.
- Responsible for ensuring all team members are adequately trained and provided with all necessary tools to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
- Ensuring successful coordination, organisation and execution of quality containment and rework projects to protect the OEM’s production.
- Training & setting the standard requirements for the team on all quality inspection/reworking activities to company standards including the use of and application of eQCC (Formel D’s Electronic Data Management System).
- Conducting random checks and audits to ensure process adherence and compliance with test results and quality standards.
- Creating Statement of Work for all projects of reworking and Quality Inspection activities.
- Ensuring eQCC is used for data capture for all inspection and rework projects.
- Be an advocate to ensure unnecessary waste is kept to a minimum.
- Support to ensure all accidents are reported on shift.
- Support to ensure standard HR processes are followed to document and resolve employee performance and discipline issues.
- Experienced working with OEM’s and Suppliers in the Automotive industry.
- Highly experienced in conducting and supporting Quality Audits.
- Exceptional leader and mentor – Leading the team by example.
- Motivate the team ensuring full engagement in the company and on specific projects to which they are assigned.
- Experienced customer management experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Working according to the company quality and housekeeping standards.
- Clean UK/ or equivalent Driving Licence.
