Your responsibilities in the role:
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision for US GAAP purposes
- Oversee preparation and review of current tax provisions, provision to return adjustments, and deferred tax roll forwards for foreign entities
- Actively engage across Tax and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of company income tax reporting in its financial statements
- Communicate drivers of the company's effective tax rate and cash tax payments for foreign entities
- Providing insight, training, and guidance on ASC 740 income tax accounting
- Research, analyse, and document the ASC 740 reporting impacts related to the company's foreign entities
- Collaborate across the tax organization to assess impacts of tax legislation on financials
- Support global projects related to income tax accounting and cash taxes
- Ensure the company's tax-related internal controls are properly designed, implemented, and maintained
- Drive process improvements and automation implementation for income tax accounting
Skills and Experience:
- Degree in finance, accounting, tax, or a related field
- Significant experience in income tax accounting experience in a public accounting firm or large, multi-entity corporation
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Applications
- In depth ASC 740 Income tax accounting experience and knowledge base, especially as applied for foreign entities
- Broad understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting standards
- The ability to prioritize when working on multiple projects
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Proficient in use of OneSource Tax Provision software
- Knowledge of OECD Pillar 2 Framework
- Experience using SAP
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
