iTS is a Northern Ireland based provider of technology and solutions for complex case management and other bespoke government and private customer solutions. The Training Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our client’s digital transformation. They will take the lead on training activities for the replacement of a complex enterprise solution for a public sector client. This is a hybrid role with regular attendance to our Belfast office required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify the specific training needs for client’s teams, departments, or business units based on their job roles, experience/knowledge and performance expectations.
- Collaborate with senior management and project teams to understand the training requirements and align them with the organisation’s digital transformation goals and broader organisational strategies to enable the development of a Training Strategy for the new solution and subsequently the detailed Training Plan (schedule).
- Work alongside the Project delivery team and Change Management to design and develop the supporting materials for an effective training program, utilising a mix of in-person, virtual, and self-paced training methods including user manuals, e-learning modules, videos and classroom-based sessions and mentoring.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
The successful candidate should have at least 5 years previous experience leading the analysis, design, development and delivery of the training of complex enterprise solution implementations and:
- Proficiency in conducting task analysis to correlate requirements with employee capabilities and identify specific knowledge and skills required.
- Experience scheduling complex modular based training for a significant audience base.
- Experience adapting and delivering innovative training solutions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, essential for training development and to enable management reporting.
- Problem-Solving – Ability to identify training challenges before developing a solution.
- Organisational Skills – Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment and manage time effectively to meet the Project training goals.
- Design and execute effective training programs within an agile or waterfall project.
- Leverage technology to plan and create training materials in a variety of media e.g. handouts, presentations, videos, online contextual help etc.
