We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technical & Quality Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with quality standards on a large-scale EV charge point installation operation.

Hours: Full time: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm
About the role: This role is an office-based position in East Kilbride with some travel required. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all electrical installations meet current industry regulations, client specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be an experienced electrician with management experience who is looking for a desk-based job.
Day-to-day duties:
- Develop, implement and maintain electrical quality assurance and control procedures across all installations (domestic and commercial).
- Conduct inspection and audits against electrical systems being installed both pre- and post-installation.
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and local building codes.
- Coordinate with the wider team and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and manage the rectification of non-conformances and implement corrective/preventative actions.
- Collate, populate and submit installation test plans (ITPs) tick sheets, and quality documents throughout the length of the projects.
- Maintain detailed quality records and reports for audit.
- Collaborate with health and safety teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Essential skills:
- NVQ 3 in electrical installations
- Full UK driving licence
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Minimum three years of experience in electrical quality control, preferably on domestic installations
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, regulations and standards
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
