An established, specialist fire engineering consultancy is looking for a technically astute Senior Fire Engineer to join their central London team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead innovative fire strategies across landmark residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, while mentoring junior staff and shaping client relationships.
The successful Senior Fire Engineer will be based from a centrally located London office, operating in a hybrid capacity with the flexibility to manage their own workload. You'll work closely with architects, developers and approval bodies, producing complex fire strategies, undertaking fire safety audits, and advising on passive and active fire protection systems.
The Senior Fire Engineer
- 5+ years' fire engineering experience (ideally UK-based)
- Degree in Fire Engineering or related subject (MSc desirable)
- CEng or working towards chartership with IFE/SFPE
- Experience producing full fire strategies across various sectors
- Strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations and standards
- Able to liaise with clients, authorities and design teams directly
- London-based or commutable to central office
