Main Duties
- Undertake all building fabric activities, with repairs undertaken where necessary to achieve the highest level of service for the client.
- Report any defects at the time of the service visit.
- Build relationships with the client, answering any queries and keeping them informed of site activities and developments.
- Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.
- Weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled.
- Monthly utilities meter readings.
- First line response to reactive repairs.
- Minor building fabric repairs - Basic Carpentry, Carpet Tiling, Locks.
- Minor decorating tasks.
- Minor plumbing repairs.
- Adhoc porterage duties (Moves & changes, furniture management & moves, etc).
- Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work orders.
- Comply fully with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner.
- Proactively walk the floors, reporting any maintenance or H&S issues to the helpdesk and appropriate manager.
What we are looking for:
- Experience within a similar position within a maintenance environment, holding relevant qualifications e.g. time served apprenticeship, C&G or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the relevance of tool box talks, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
- Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights.
- Good verbal and written communication and ability to use computers.
Experience
- Experience in a similar position within a maintenance environment.
- Experience in Facilities Management industries.
- Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge.
