As a recently qualified (MRICS) surveyor, youβll join the retail occupier advisory team, reporting directly to the Head of Advisory Services. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business with exposure to all aspects of retail property aiding your career progression. The team provides outsourced property department services; therefore, experience of working with a retailer or leisure operator would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a key point of contact for retail occupiers and landlords across a national portfolio, on behalf of multiple clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, occupiers, and external stakeholders, whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
- Support lease advisory and transactional activity through to completion, including lease renewals, regears, rent reviews, acquisitions and disposals.
- Provide strategic advice on retail portfolios and asset enhancement.
- Manage transactions from inception, through the legal process, to completion.
- Maintain accurate lease and property data, ensuring robust reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams across asset management and investment to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of client reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the occupier advisory service line.
- MRICS qualified with 0β2 years post-qualification experience in retail, leisure, or commercial property. Experience of working with solicitors will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of commercial leases, property legislation, and retail market dynamics with experience of transactions on retail parks, shopping centres and high street locations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and commercially astute.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and property management systems.
- A collaborative team player with entrepreneurial spirit.
