ALEC FITOUT is seeking a Fit-Out Foreman, who will be on the frontlines of construction, managing daily site operations, supervising tradesmen, and ensuring quality and productivity in every task. You’ll oversee the execution of interior finishes and report progress, snags, and safety matters directly to your site leadership team.
Please note that this role will be assigned to ALEC FITOUT project, based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The position requires a six-day working week, which is mandatory for all site-based roles. Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain a work visa for UAE.
Your Role:
- Review daily schedules and assign work based on priorities and skills.
- Lead teams in fit-out trades including marble, woodwork, metal, glazing, partitions, ceilings, and painting.
- Interpret and explain technical drawings to ensure accurate and timely task completion.
- Ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with HSE policies.
- Manage tools, materials, and manpower to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks, resolve minor site issues, and escalate critical ones to the Site Manager.
- Record and report daily site progress, delays, and corrective actions.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to develop their technical and safety competencies.
- Maintain discipline and promote teamwork on-site.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum 5–7 years’ hands-on experience in the construction industry.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Fit-Out Foreman managing multiple trades on high-end projects.
- Previous experience in luxury interior fit-out is a must (hospitality, retail, commercial, or high-end residential).
- Strong leadership and communication skills – able to coordinate diverse teams and subcontractors.
- Solid understanding of technical drawings, construction materials, and interior finishes.
- Proven track record in productivity improvement, quality management, and safety enforcement.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to write daily reports in English.
- Valid First Aid Certificate is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
