This is a critical role within a fast-growing business that will be responsible for helping to implement and uphold all aspects of the site’s food safety and quality management system. At NORTHERN BL°C we are dedicated to delivering premium quality ice cream to our customers. We pride ourselves on our commitment to food safety, quality, and authenticity. We are currently looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Auditor to join our technical team and ensure that our products continue to meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of the company Quality Management system.
  • Conduct regular food safety, quality and GMP audits.
  • Carry out and manage internal audit programme, liaising with all departments to ensure timely close out and root cause analysis of any non-conformances.
  • Log microbiological samples, swabs and water samples for external testing.
  • Assist in investigation of customer complaints.
  • Provide training and support to all production and operational colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Auditor, Quality Controller, or in a similar role within a food manufacturing factory.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and BRCGS requirements.
  • HACCP level 3 (desirable).
  • Food safety level 3 (desirable).

Working Hours: 2pm until 10pm (afternoon shift) • Monday to Friday
