Our client is a major utilities contractor delivering a variety of HV and EHV schemes in the varied and growing energy market. Milford RES has been asked to source an established electrical design manager to oversee HV engineering works nationally.
The successful applicant will be acting in a leadership role, overseeing engineering designs within the HV electrical engineering market.
To apply for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Experienced electrical design manager
- Extensive HV (132kv and above) experience is essential
- Wide range of substation, National Grid, DNO, IDNCO and ICP experience
- Degree qualified in electrical engineering
- Line management experience
- Autonomous, professional and comfortable dealing with senior industry stakeholders
- Based in the UK and fully eligible to work in the UK
This position is based in the Hertfordshire area on a hybrid basis. Applicants must be based close enough to Hertfordshire to make being office based 2-3 days per week practical.
