Here at Stonewater, we are now looking for a Building Performance Analyst - someone to support the delivery of Stonewater’s Sustainability Strategy ensuring targets are met. You’ll assist in the management of Stonewater’s Environmental Management Systems and accreditations, ensuring continuous improvement and you’ll continuously review existing energy information and improve data accuracy to ensure energy improvement programmes are realistic.
Undertaking analysis to support the development of energy improvement programmes for existing homes and communal areas to achieve Stonewater’s long term targets, you’ll undertake energy modelling, assessing different improvement scenarios to support retrofit decision making and assist in research trials of innovative products, systems and approaches including performance monitoring and analysis. You’ll support the review of retrofit data and inform decision making on live projects and support grant funding applications for retrofit projects through the production of relevant data and modelling, ensuring relevant data is stored centrally at the appropriate time in the retrofit process.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with property and energy efficiency data, preferably within housing or similar sector.
- Have experience working with large volumes of energy data, undertaking analysis and identifying trends.
- Have knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulation and of the opportunities for CO2 reduction and energy efficiency improvements in existing homes.
- Have good knowledge of SAP and RdSAP.
- Have knowledge of new technology and renewables in domestic properties.
- Have excellent IT skills, including experience of MS Office and Teams with advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerBi.
- Have excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, consultants, contractors and customers.
- Be able to prioritise workload, agree targets and meet deadlines.
