The predicted salary is between 24000 - 33600 £ per year.

Salary: £40,000

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (Hybrid) 3 days on site and 2 from home.

Reporting to: Commercial Controller

Responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of set retail accounts and the development of profitable, sustainable growth in line with the company strategy.

  • Deliver robust sales data and KPI analysis to guide decision-making on promotional/category plans and continuous business improvement initiatives.
  • P&L responsibility for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate forecasting and the delivery of budgeted financial targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer teams, acting as their key contact for inquiries and support.

Account Management:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of client accounts, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Sales Support & Growth:

  • Support the Commercial Controller in identifying opportunities for account growth, using data-driven insights to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Help prepare presentations, proposals, and reports to support account growth and development.
  • Stay informed about our product range, market trends, and emerging opportunities to provide clients with the best advice and service.
  • Look beyond the immediate team, partnering with others to solve challenges and enhance service offerings.

Data & Reporting:

  • Keep trackers UpToDate on reasons for changes to sales orders, and performance, providing transparency to customers and the internal team.
  • Support accurate forecasting and planning, ensuring that we reliably deliver on commitments.

1-2 years of experience in account management, sales, ideally within FMCG.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM systems is advantageous.
