TIG Welder (Abingdon-On-Thames)

A specialist international manufacturing firm in metal based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire are looking for some experienced TIG welders to join the growing company on a permanent basis.

You need to be a confident TIG Welder with experience in a manufacturing environment alongside having a selection of fabrication techniques. Additional experience of MIG welding and working with pressure vessels would be advantageous, as would Dye Penetrant, CSWIP or PCN2 qualifications.

Predominantly TIG welding – working to accredited, regulatory codes

• Understanding information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Non welding eg forming, grinding, operating overhead cranes

The hours for this role are 37 per week, Monday to Friday on two different shift depending on what shift you prefer:-

• Early Shift – 05:45 to 13:45 Monday to Thursday, 05:55 to 13:00 Friday.
• Late Shift – 14:15 to 22:25 Monday to Thursday, 13:00 to 19:00 Friday + 14% shift allowance

Overtime is paid at time and a half and double at the weekends.
