Key Requirements
We are seeking a Commercial Property Paralegal or Solicitor with experience in agricultural and commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and renewable energy schemes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage files and communications in a busy property team.
- Assisting fee earners in property transactions involving agricultural and commercial assets, including renewables
- Drafting and reviewing key legal documentation: contracts, transfers, lease agreements
- Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and handling post-completion formalities
- Carrying out a range of property searches and providing accurate analysis to support client and internal decision-making
- Managing client correspondence, ensuring professional and timely communication
- Organising and maintaining client files in line with regulatory and firm compliance standards
- Providing administrative support across the property team when required
Preferred qualifications and skills
- A Law Degree or CILEX qualification
- Experience within a property law environment, ideally commercial or agricultural
- Proficient with case management software and MS Office
- Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- Land Registry knowledge and understanding of post-completion tasks
Role & Responsibilities
As a Property Paralegal or Solicitor, you will be an integral member of our property department, supporting senior fee earners while developing your own caseload. You will be involved in a broad range of matters and be expected to demonstrate initiative, commercial awareness, and an ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Supporting and progressing agricultural and commercial property transactions
- Preparing and filing legal documentation and property forms
- Undertaking property searches and interpreting results for colleagues and clients
- Handling client queries and providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Maintaining up-to-date and compliant file records
- Contributing to team and firm initiatives that improve service delivery
